A Cozy Stay with Welcoming Vibes
I had a delightful night enjoying the city's central charm. A highlight was the delicious dinner at the onsite restaurant that exceeded my expectations. Make sure to park your car early because the lot fills quickly. A cold winter might be an issue, though!

The hotel sits conveniently between the railway station and town, making it easy to explore. Rooms are located across multiple floors, adding a unique charm that has its own old-school flair.
The property shows its age with tired, shabby room decor and poorly maintained bathrooms, some with unpleasant odors that linger. Limited amenities made the experience less enjoyable. for instance, a missing breakfast that we had already paid for on arrival. The plastic remnants of outdated carpet and furnishings feel a bit out of place in an ever-evolving city. Add to that the fact that rooms are accessible only via stairs after the second floor, which can be cumbersome for those with heavy luggage.

We had such a delightful stay, especially the friendly reception with a complimentary prosecco upon arrival! The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The three-course meal in the restaurant was genuinely impressive, far better than expected! I'll definitely choose it again.

Cozy stay with a cute vibe
Had a chill 1-night stay in a single room. Staff were friendly, but there could’ve been more of them around. The food was just okay, really need to rethink those potato croquettes with every dish. Tiny bathroom sink was a bit annoying, but it was all good, I just showered and headed out early.

Now let me tell you, the eggs Benedict at Dosa World was a revelation—perfectly poached with that rich hollandaise sauce that'll have you dancing in your seat! The Orchid Lounge Bar had a lovely vibe too, making it a fab spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Plus, the location was spot on, just a quick walk to the beach.
We had to wait quite a bit for the receptionist, and the reception area had quite the aroma wafting through, not exactly inviting. The bed felt more like a slab of concrete rather than a comfy retreat, and the bathroom left a lot to be desired, feeling dated and a bit worn.

Staff were great!
Had a rough stay, honestly. The staff were super nice, but the room was tiny and old. The window couldn’t open, and it felt like being in a sauna with no AC. got kicked out of the parking lot at check-in because it was full. The dining was okay though!

We had a lovely stay with our kids, and the rooms were spotless and cozy, which helped us all get some great night’s sleep. The pool was a fun way to unwind while the kids played, and we also enjoyed relaxing in the garden area. One minor hiccup was a bit of noise from the hallway, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all. 😊
